Château Nozières Cahors Tradition (often labeled as Cuvée Tradition or Ambroise de l’Her) is a fruit-forward,, early-drinking Malbec-driven red from Southwest France. It showcases fresh black fruit, good acidity, and soft, rustic tannins. This unoaked, typically 85-100% Malbec wine offers a pure expression of the Lot Valley’s terroir.

Chateau Nozieres Cahors Tradition

Grape varietals: 85 % Malbec and 15 % Merlot. AOC Cahors

Fermentation: a traditional fermentation in thermo-regulated vats for 2 weeks.

Maturation: in a classic manner in concrete and stainless steel vats during 18 months.

Parcels: Vines from 20 to 30 years old, 

Soil type: clay limestone, old terraces of Lot Valley.

Tasting notes: A traditionally fermented wine which preserves the fruitiness and roundness with a supple and well-balanced structure.

Chateau Nozieres Ambroise de L’Her Cahors

Grape varietals: 90% Malbec and 10 % Merlot. AOC Cahors

Parcels: a selection from vines more than 30 years old.

Soil type: clay limestone, old terraces of Lot Valley.

Fermentation: traditionally, in vats, for 3 weeks. Controlled temperature between 28-30°C. Malolactic fermentation in vat on its lees (bâtonnage).

Maturation: 12 or 14 months in oak barrels from 1 to 5 wines.
