Retired from his position as the CEO of Garanti Bank, he purchased a former tobacco field to turn it into a vineyard and a boutique winery. The 1.5 hectares vineyard was planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah. Today, the winery counts for 19 hectares of land with four separate plots planted of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Chardonnay, Viognier and Narince.  The Sarnic vineyard has organic viticulture license.

Grape varietals:  34% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, 20% Merlot, 16% Cinsault.

Vinification: At harvest time, the grapes are hand-picked before sunrise, and transported in 13kg small baskets to air-conditioned winery.  Hand-selection of unripe and overripe grapes on conveyor belt takes place before and after grape bunches pass through the de-stemmer.  Every varietal is fermented at stainless-steel tanks separately.  They, then, rest in medium-toasted French oak barrels for 20 months. The wines are bottled at the premises

Tasting notes: vibrant and fruity with notes of dark plums, red fruits and vanilla. Medium bodied wine.

Food pairing: Enjoy with roast chicken, spicy dishes and bbq.
